The Four Seasons at Sunstone
Snow-deep winter, green spring, long summer, gold autumn, and how each one changes the same forty acres.
Is Sunstone really a four-season property?
Yes, and it is the thing that most distinguishes it. At this elevation every season arrives fully. Weddings, events and retreats run year-round.
What is winter like?
Snow deep in the pines, fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs earning their keep, and photographs no summer date can produce.
What is summer like?
Long green days with the creek running and the trail open. Twenty to twenty-five degrees below the basin on the same afternoon.
What about spring and autumn?
Spring runs the creek at its highest and greens the meadow. Autumn brings gold to the black oak, cold clear nights, and the best star cover of the year. Both are underbooked and both are beautiful.
